First Dream / Difficulty Walking
I had my first dream last night in which I was walking the way I'm walking now. The "me" in the dream was very old, but it was definitely me, and the walk was definitely my walk. I would have thought my dreams would have continued to be of my normal walk. I've wondered before if quadraplegics' dreams had them walking or not. Now I guess I know the answer to that one.
I woke up super early this morning. I'm hoping I can blog for a little while and then go back to sleep, but that remains to be seen. Right now, I'm not even yawning.

This is good to hear from your posts that using the walker went better than you thought. I'm glad. Dreams - well most paralyzed people tend to have what we call "walking dreams" where we arent in our wheelchairs. I don't know why (this is only based on talking to my friends). However I have had dreams both ways - walking /wheelchair. Sometimes it seems to depends on who is in the dream/what is happening in the dream. Thank you so much for stopping by my blog and offering support to some of the readers --your posts here and over there really help people going through an adjustment to using equipment. God bless.

I really was happy to see how easy it was to get over my embarrassment with the walker. It wasn't nearly as awkward as I thought it would be. I hope your anonymous friend is taking communion at home, if he's not getting out to church. It would be a shame to deprive himself of the sacrament unnecessarily.
