Day by Day with Parkinson's and Peripheral Neuropathy

I was diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease and Peripheral Neuropathy in 2006, but my symptoms seemed to take a turn in a different direction in late 2007. The current diagnosis is Essential Myoclonus. You will find record here of a my journey - coping with the testing, the medicines, nutrition, digestion problems, exercise, the emotions, and no telling what else!

End of One Journey - The Beginning of Another

My Daddy passed away peacefully last night, with his family all around him, in his own home, just as he wanted.

Thank you for all your prayers and concern for us.

    {{{DB}}} I am so sorry.
    Even when we know it's coming, or think we're ready, there is still always grieving. I'll say a prayer for your Father and for you and keep you in my thoughts.

    I hope that soon you can get some very much needed rest. {{Hug}}

    Rosemary, I know the struggle was difficult. Bless your heart. We Southerners are always saying that, but you need to hear it a lot now.

    When I couldn't add a comment on Yesterday's Memories, I didn't think about coming over here until just now! I have been praying for you and your family and thank God that your Daddy passed away peacefully.

    I love the fact that you still call him "Daddy"! {{{HUGS & BLESSINGS}}}

    Although you must feel sad with a big gap in your life it must be good to know your Father is now at peace.

    I hope you will now rest up seeing you have been unable to after the last few stressful months. It is what your Father would have wanted.
